Location: Manchester, NH — This is an on-site opportunity where you'll collaborate closely with experienced litigators and a supportive legal team. Hybrid flexibility may become available as you establish relationships and grow within the firm.

Note: We welcome attorneys at different stages of their careers who are interested in building a long-term future with our team. Active bar admission and the ability to practice in New Hampshire are important. Associates with 1 to 6 years of experience do not need a book of business. Senior attorneys and solo practitioners should have an established book of business.

Job Description

• Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including business disputes and other complex civil cases.
• Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research, review evidence, and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Work directly with clients to understand their objectives and provide practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on challenging cases while taking on increasing responsibility.
• Develop meaningful client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our litigation practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission.
• Ability to practice in New Hampshire, with NH Bar admission preferred.
• Civil litigation experience or a strong foundation in litigation practice.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with pleadings, discovery, motions, and courtroom procedures preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering excellent client service.
