Pay: $145,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid and location-flexible, with opportunities based in Waco, Dallas, or Marshall, Texas, or Palo Alto, California. We are especially flexible for candidates with strong directly relevant patent litigation experience.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the Bar in at least one U.S. state and have 1+ years of intellectual property litigation experience, including hands-on experience drafting and analyzing patent claim charts.

Job Description

• Draft, analyze, and refine patent claim charts for active infringement litigation
• Help develop case strategy for complex, high-stakes patent disputes
• Conduct substantive patent litigation analysis and support case preparation
• Work closely with experienced trial attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle
• Take ownership of meaningful assignments with limited day-to-day oversight
• Help prepare matters for hearings, depositions, trial, and other critical litigation milestones
• Contribute creative legal and strategic thinking to challenging intellectual property disputes
• Build courtroom and trial experience while developing as a patent litigator

Qualifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state
• 1+ years of directly relevant IP or patent litigation experience
• Hands-on experience drafting and analyzing patent claim charts
• Strong understanding of patent law and patent infringement litigation
• Excellent legal research, analysis, writing, and communication skills
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of complex assignments
• Creative, driven, and able to move matters forward without heavy oversight
• Associate-level candidates are preferred, although more senior attorneys with strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply
