Location: Charleston, SC (Remote eligible within South Carolina, with travel for hearings and court coverage as needed)
Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar and have 5+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience (and be licensed or able to obtain admission quickly in SC federal district and bankruptcy courts)

Job Description
- Manage a high volume creditors rights caseload focused on mortgage foreclosure and collections from start to finish
- Handle contested matters including discovery issues, depositions, motion practice, and conflict resolution
- Make court appearances across South Carolina and provide hearing coverage as needed
- Research and apply federal and state laws impacting default servicing and consumer finance matters
- Draft persuasive pleadings, briefs, and settlement communications with a client first mindset
- Collaborate with internal teams to keep workflows efficient, deadlines protected, and client reporting tight
- Support business growth through strong relationships, reputation building, and leadership by example
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Bar license in good standing
- Licensed or able to obtain admission promptly in South Carolina federal district and bankruptcy courts
- 5+ years of mortgage foreclosure and collections experience in a high volume environment
- Confident handling contested litigation, discovery practice, and depositions
- Strong writing, communication, and judgment with a client service orientation
- Willingness to travel within South Carolina for hearings and court coverage
