Note:
Active California Bar admission is required. We are hiring at multiple experience levels, including an associate with at least 1 year of litigation experience and a senior associate or partner-level attorney capable of independently managing sophisticated matters and helping lead the team. A book of business is not required for the senior opening, and we strongly value candidates interested in long-term career stability.

Job Description
- Handle employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, trial, and appeal.
- Defend employers in wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, FLSA collective actions, and individual employment disputes.
- Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, contractual, trade secret, and related employment matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, pleadings, motions, and case evaluations.
- Propound and respond to discovery and manage document-intensive litigation.
- Prepare for, take, and defend fact, corporate representative, and expert depositions based on experience level.
- Prepare and argue substantive and dispositive motions in state and federal court.
- Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal litigation teams.
- Manage case strategy, investigation, deadlines, and client reporting.
- Assist with trial preparation and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Senior attorneys will help supervise associates, guide litigation strategy, strengthen client relationships, and support leadership of the employment practice.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- 1+ year of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage litigation deadlines, discovery, motions, and multiple active matters.
- Strong client service, organization, judgment, and collaboration skills.
- Employment litigation experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with wage and hour, PAGA, class actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other California employment matters is highly valued.
- Senior candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently manage significant litigation and mentor or supervise junior attorneys.
- Trial and substantial deposition experience are preferred for senior-level candidates.
