Location:

Alpharetta, GA. Primarily in-office to promote mentorship and collaboration, with hybrid flexibility considered for candidates with strong Workers' Compensation Defense experience.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have at least 1 year of Workers' Compensation experience. Defense experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
  • Partner closely with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
  • Evaluate claims, provide legal recommendations, and deliver outstanding client service.
  • Collaborate with a team that values mentorship, responsiveness, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia Bar license.
  • 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience.
  • Litigation experience with strong legal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Workers' Compensation defense experience preferred.
  • Public Defender, Assistant District Attorney, or Solicitor experience considered a plus.
