Pay: $130,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

Location: Portland, Maine | Hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week while enjoying the collaboration and mentorship of an established office.
Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of corporate law experience with significant mergers and acquisitions experience and must be licensed to practice in Maine.

Job Description
- Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions transactions from initial structuring through closing
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and transaction documents
- Advise corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies on day-to-day business matters
- Assist clients with entity formation and organizational structuring
- Support finance and private equity transactions
- Conduct due diligence and manage transaction processes
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex matters
- Build strong client relationships and provide practical legal advice
Qualifications
- 3+ years of corporate law experience
- Strong mergers and acquisitions experience required
- Experience representing corporations, partnerships, and LLCs preferred
- Experience with entity formation and business structuring preferred
- Finance and private equity transaction experience preferred
- Securities law knowledge is a plus
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Maine bar admission required
