Pay: $220,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year

Location

Sacramento, CA – Hybrid. Enjoy the benefits of in-office collaboration along with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week. Specific in-office scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.

Note

We are seeking attorneys with 3+ years of litigation experience and an active California Bar license in good standing. Strong legal research, persuasive writing, and confident oral communication skills are essential. Experience in construction, real estate, or commercial litigation is preferred, but attorneys with strong general civil litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Represent businesses and organizations in complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
• Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, and manage discovery.
• Handle disputes involving contracts, commercial transactions, real estate, and construction-related issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and experts to evaluate risks and develop effective litigation solutions.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings.
• Build meaningful client relationships while taking increasing ownership of challenging cases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent client communication and confident oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with construction litigation, real estate disputes, or related commercial matters preferred.
• Previous deposition and court appearance experience is a plus, not required.
