Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Accounting (Bilingual Mandarin)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Location: Fife, WA – On-site opportunity in the Tacoma metro area. Work closely with our accounting and operations teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of manufacturing accounting experience and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Hands-on experience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory is essential.

Job Description

• Manage manufacturing and cost accounting activities, including inventory accounting and cost analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze production costs, inventory movements, and manufacturing variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and accounting process improvements.
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin with relevant business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing cost accounting and inventory.
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
