Location: Newark, NJ - On-site. We are an in-office firm and value the collaboration, accessibility, and professional development that come from working closely with our team. One work-from-home day per week is permitted, with some additional flexibility available for the right fit.
Note: Must have a New Jersey Bar license and 6+ years of directly relevant commercial real estate transactional experience, with robust experience across purchase and sale, leasing, and finance. Candidates must be capable of independently handling a commercial real estate closing.

Job Description
- Represent clients in sophisticated commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and related transaction documents.
- Handle commercial leasing matters for both landlords and tenants.
- Represent borrowers and lenders in real estate financing transactions.
- Lead and oversee due diligence, documentation, and transaction closings.
- Independently manage commercial real estate closings from preparation through completion.
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, brokers, and other transaction participants.
- Manage multiple transactions efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and responsiveness.
- Deliver high-volume, high-quality written work product in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial practice where experienced attorneys have meaningful client responsibility.
Qualifications
- New Jersey Bar license required.
- 6+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience; 7+ years strongly preferred.
- Robust experience across commercial real estate purchase and sale, leasing, and finance matters.
- Ability to independently handle a commercial real estate closing.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing transactions in a private practice law firm environment strongly preferred.
- Strong client-service orientation and ability to work effectively in a high-volume transactional practice.
- In-house or solo practice experience may be considered for candidates with the necessary transactional depth and ability to adapt to a larger private practice environment.
