Location: On-site in Wray, CO — this is a hands-on field role where you'll be right in the middle of the action, working alongside a close-knit project team. Relocation assistance available.

Note: This role requires a minimum of 2 years of commercial construction field experience. Candidates without this background will not be considered.

Job description

  • Serve as a key communication link between project owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team — keeping everyone aligned and on schedule
  • Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing subcontractor relationships and coordinating project schedules
  • Perform carpentry, general labor, and hands-on jobsite tasks to keep work moving forward
  • Attend and organize project meetings; prepare and distribute meeting notes, submittals, and required documentation
  • Participate in punch lists, city inspections, safety reviews, and quality walkthroughs
  • Track and update drawings, specs, and submittals to ensure the team always has the most current information
  • Prepare daily project reports, weekly progress updates, production schedules, equipment tracking, and manpower logs
  • Champion a safety-first culture on the jobsite — through your actions, documentation, and mentorship of others
  • Help identify and pursue new business opportunities through proposals and client-facing activities
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, design teams, and user groups that reflect our company's core values

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial construction field experience (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with project owners, subs, and field crews
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); familiarity with scheduling or construction administration software a plus
  • Solid understanding of construction equipment, tools, and safe work practices
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving skills
