Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Calabasas, California, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and partial remote flexibility.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California State Bar and have 5+ years of litigation experience. Experience with business, commercial, real estate, or corporate transactional matters is highly preferred.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial preparation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Advise clients on business, commercial, and real estate disputes and transactions.
  • Negotiate settlements and business agreements.
  • Prepare and review corporate governance documents, operating agreements, partnership agreements, bylaws, and related legal documents.
  • Develop legal strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while working collaboratively with the legal team.

Qualifications

  • Active California State Bar license required.
  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of California and Federal court procedures.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience with business litigation, commercial litigation, real estate law, or corporate transactions preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
