Location

Castle Rock, CO | 100% On-site

Join our welcoming team in Castle Rock, where you'll enjoy a collaborative, in-person environment and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients. We are seeking candidates who currently live within commuting distance, preferably in Castle Rock, Douglas County, or the immediate surrounding areas. While a hybrid schedule may be considered in the future, this position is currently fully in-office.

Note

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Colorado, have 4+ years of transactional legal experience involving real estate, business law, or special districts, and currently reside within commuting distance of Castle Rock. We are not considering out-of-state candidates or relocation applicants. An existing book of business is preferred but not required.

Job Description

As a Transactional Associate Attorney, you'll work with a diverse client base on business transactions, real estate matters, and special district projects. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful legal work, develop strong client relationships, and collaborate with attorneys across our practice areas.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, real estate agreements, and business transaction documents.
• Advise businesses, property owners, and other clients on transactional legal matters and practical solutions.
• Assist with real estate acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, and related transactions.
• Handle business formation, corporate governance, and general business law matters.
• Support special district matters, including agreements, governance, and related legal issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, accurate, and persuasive legal documents.
• Manage multiple client matters independently while collaborating with colleagues across the firm.
• Develop lasting client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
• 4+ years of transactional legal experience involving real estate, business law, or special districts.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, legal research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and provide practical legal guidance.
• A collaborative, client-focused approach and strong professional judgment.
• Existing client relationships or a book of business are preferred but not required.
