Location: Boston, Massachusetts | Hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, offering the ideal blend of collaboration and flexibility.

Note: Candidates must have 4+ years of management-side employment law experience, including counseling employers and litigating employment matters. Admission to practice in Massachusetts or ability to obtain admission is required.

Job Description

  • Advise and represent employers on a wide range of employment law matters
  • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and related documents
  • Provide strategic counseling regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Handle employment litigation in court and before administrative agencies, including MCAD and DOL proceedings
  • Develop creative solutions for clients facing complex workplace issues
  • Work directly with clients and build long-term trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on sophisticated matters
  • Contribute to business development and practice growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of employment law experience representing employers
  • Experience litigating employment matters in court and before administrative agencies
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Experience drafting policies, employment agreements, and related documents
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Labor law experience or workplace investigations experience is a plus
  • Massachusetts bar admission or eligibility for admission preferred
