Candidates must have hands-on experience preparing consumer debtor bankruptcy petitions for attorney review. Experience with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings is highly valued, and familiarity with Best Case Bankruptcy software is strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Assist attorneys with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases from intake through filing.
- Prepare and review bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and supporting documents under attorney supervision.
- Gather, organize, and verify clients' financial information, including income, assets, debts, and expenses.
- Communicate with clients regarding documentation, deadlines, appointments, and case updates.
- Maintain accurate case files, track deadlines, and help keep cases progressing smoothly.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to deliver responsive, compassionate client service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hands-on experience preparing consumer bankruptcy petitions required.
- Experience with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures preferred.
- Familiarity with Best Case Bankruptcy software is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
