Location: Remote field-based position. Candidates may live anywhere in Kentucky or surrounding states and must be comfortable traveling approximately 75% to project sites. Job Description
- Work as part of an experienced field crew performing heavy rigging, lifting, transportation, and industrial project activities.
- Attach and secure loads to rigging equipment for safe lifting, positioning, and transport.
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as qualified and assigned.
- Signal and communicate with equipment operators and crew members during hoisting and load movement operations.
- Inspect rigging equipment and tools to confirm they are safe and ready for use.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, hydraulic equipment, and precision measuring tools.
- Support loading, unloading, equipment setup, material handling, and general project-site activities.
- Follow established rigging procedures, job-site safety requirements, and crew instructions.
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
- Travel extensively to industrial project sites throughout Kentucky, surrounding states, and other locations as projects require.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of rigging, heavy rigging, crane operations, construction, heavy trucking, industrial construction, or similar hands-on experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75%.
- Ability to speak and read fluent English to complete required safety training.
- Ability to work safely in industrial and safety-sensitive environments.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and perform physically demanding field work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Must be able to satisfy applicable background, drug, alcohol, and job-site access requirements.
