Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site in a collaborative office environment, with hybrid flexibility possible once youve proven you can run autonomously)

Job Description

  • Manage and drive litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution and trial preparation
  • Draft and argue motions, support case strategy, and deliver strong written work product
  • Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and preparing discovery strategy
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in key litigation events and hearings
  • Partner closely with senior attorneys on client communication, case planning, and execution
  • Build practical project management habits to keep matters moving efficiently and predictably
  • Work across a broad litigation portfolio including general liability, premises liability, auto/trucking, products, construction, professional liability, and insurance coverage/bad faith matters

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school (LL.M. alone is not sufficient)
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • Litigation experience with discovery, law and motion, depositions, and trial prep exposure
  • Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and managing multiple deadlines
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship)
