Location: On-site in Leawood, Kansas. You'll be embedded with the project team and close to the work — the way great project management gets done.
Note: Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience. Candidates without direct field-side construction PM experience will not be considered.

Job Description
- Serve as the primary client contact from project kickoff through closeout — assess scope, align expectations, and keep relationships strong throughout the life of the project
- Prepare complete, accurate estimates through detailed review of proposal specs, drawings, takeoff information, and contract documents
- Provide overall direction of the total construction effort — budget, schedule, quality, and safety — coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, engineering, and day-to-day site administration
- Supervise superintendents and subcontractors; provide technical guidance on construction methods, equipment selection, and drawing interpretation
- Initiate, track, and manage change orders and extra work estimating with precision and timeliness
- Prepare monthly project status reports and cost-to-complete forecasts; own the financial performance of your projects
- Issue owner and subcontract agreements, manage RFIs and shop drawings, and maintain organized, audit-ready project files
- Lead preconstruction teams when assigned, providing direction and mentorship to junior team members
- Coordinate closely with site superintendents to align field activities with the overall project plan
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive commercial construction project management experience
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on experience
- Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, estimating, scheduling, and safety
- Experience with subcontractor management, change order administration, RFIs, and contract compliance
- Strong command of project financials — cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
- Valid driver's license in good standing required
