Join our welcoming Agoura Hills office, where collaboration and teamwork are central to our success. We value in-person connection while offering potential flexibility for 1 or 2 remote days per week depending on commuting distance and business needs.

Note

Candidates must have an active California Bar license in good standing, 5+ years of substantive civil litigation experience, and the ability to independently manage litigation cases. Applicants must be within reasonable commuting distance of Agoura Hills and comfortable working primarily on-site.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys taking ownership of cases, solving complex legal challenges, and delivering outstanding results.

• Independently manage an active caseload from initial evaluation through litigation and trial preparation.
• Handle all phases of discovery, depositions, law and motion, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on real estate, business, and community association disputes.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and practical legal guidance.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.
• Experience independently managing cases, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize cases, and work collaboratively.
• Experience in real estate litigation, business litigation, construction defect, insurance defense, or HOA litigation is a plus, not a requirement.
• Recent hands-on litigation experience from a law firm, solo practice, or in-house position is welcome.
