Job Description

  • Assist with the defense of complex medical malpractice and healthcare liability matters.
  • Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation activities.
  • Review and analyze medical records, evidence, and case-related materials.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other legal professionals.
  • Manage assigned tasks and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys while progressively taking on greater responsibility.
  • Develop practical litigation skills and gain meaningful exposure to the full lifecycle of medical malpractice cases.

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Bar license required.
  • 0-3 years of experience as an associate attorney.
  • Strong interest in litigation and medical malpractice defense.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
