Mobile Application Engineer at Software Co. (Hybrid, Metro Manila)

We are looking for a passionate Mobile Application Engineer for the Philippines to work in a hybrid setup for our US-based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based Metro Manila Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

As we grow, we're seeking passionate and versatile Mobile Application Engineers to join our growing team. While we mainly use React Native with Expo in our current stack, we welcome applicants with strong React and mobile development experience (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Flutter) who are open to learning React Native.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building high-quality mobile apps that meet user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define project specs, objectives, and timelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern mobile frameworks such as React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring opportunities.
• Stay current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mobile application development.
• Well-versed in application architecture and design patterns.
• Background in mobile app development using React Native.
• Understanding of mobile app deployment and the App Store/Google Play publishing process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on quality and results.
• Good communication and a collaborative mindset for working in a hybrid environment.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for mobile apps.
• Previous experience working in a startup or agile environment.
