Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HOA Community Manager to oversee the administration and operations of homeowners associations. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between board members, homeowners, and vendors, facilitating board meetings, managing projects, ensuring smooth day-to-day management, adherence to community guidelines, and high homeowner satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HOA board members and homeowners.
- Facilitate and coordinate HOA board meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
- Manage homeowner inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring timely responses.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including scheduling maintenance and services for the community.
- Administer community rules and regulations, issuing violation notices when necessary.
- Assist with financial oversight, tracking dues, and preparing budgets and financial reports.
- Coordinate and manage community projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Maintain accurate records of homeowner information, association documents, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure compliance with state and local HOA regulations.
- Organize community events to foster engagement and enhance homeowner satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Proven experience in HOA or property management (2+ years).
- Familiarity with HOA management tools (e.g., Vantaca, AppFolio, Buildium).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, manage agendas, and prepare meeting minutes.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of US HOA laws and regulations.
- Experience in budget preparation, financial reporting, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in managing community projects and public relations.
