Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of property management activities. The ideal candidate will assist with tenant communication, leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure properties run smoothly and meet owner expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support property managers in daily operations and tenant relations.
  • Coordinate and schedule property maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
  • Manage rent collection, late payment notices, and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update property management software with accurate records.
  • Draft and distribute tenant communications, such as notices and announcements.
  • Generate reports on property performance and financials.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to fill property vacancies.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and email correspondence.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Experience in property management or related roles (1+ year).
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with US property management laws and regulations.
  • Experience in leasing coordination or tenant management.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and property marketing strategies.
