Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and organized Marketing Coordinator to support ongoing marketing initiatives across property management portfolios. This role involves digital marketing, design coordination, reputation management, and communication support. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple marketing platforms and administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

  • Represent the companys mission and brand professionally and positively at all times.

  • Deliver excellent communication and service to prospective residents, current tenants, and external vendors.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and other team members via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

  • Adhere to state and federal housing laws, including fair housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.

  • Attend required training sessions and follow company policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Document all resident communications promptly and accurately in AppFolio.

  • Keep organized, legible records of all marketing activities, property guides, contracts, and promotional materials.

Marketing Support & Coordination:

  • Maintain and update company and property websites (including specials, photos, broken links, etc.).

  • Coordinate the transfer of marketing assets for new property onboardings and offboardings.

  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn):

    • Schedule posts and campaigns.

    • Moderate comments and engage with the audience.

  • Upload and maintain property photos in AppFolio.

  • Oversee Google Business and Reviews management across platforms using tools like Opiniion.

  • Coordinate and audit ILS (Internet Listing Service) platforms for all properties.

  • Liaise with ILS representatives and property managers to address issues or update listings.

  • Assist with creating and ordering marketing collateral: posters, brochures, banners, signs, stickers, etc.

  • Support marketing efforts for realty listings: social media content, flyers, and email campaigns.

Collaboration & Administrative Tasks:

  • Assist portfolio and community managers with property-specific marketing or design needs.

  • Respond to emails, calls, and assigned tasks within 24 hours.

  • Participate in team meetings, sharing updates and collaborating on marketing priorities.

  • Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.

Recurring Tasks:

Daily:

  • Review calendar, voicemails, emails, and scheduled activities.

  • Work on pending requests from management and property teams.

Weekly:

  • Conduct ILS audits to ensure listing accuracy.

  • Send email reminders to property managers about marketing support availability.

  • Participate in weekly supervisor check-ins.

Monthly:

  • Send monthly single-family property emails.

  • Prepare and display monthly slideshows celebrating employee birthdays/anniversaries.

  • Attend monthly marketing team or leadership meetings.

Quarterly:

  • Coordinate and distribute the company newsletter.

  • Assist with quarterly ownership communications for single-family properties.

  • Manage Employee of the Quarter recognition: gather nominations, organize lunch, and prepare the award.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing coordination, digital marketing, or administrative support, preferably in the property management or real estate sector.
  • Proficient in social media platforms, Google Business tools, and marketing design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AppFolio or other property management systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Creative mindset with a collaborative attitude.
