Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Coordinator to oversee the leasing process for residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will handle tenant inquiries, coordinate property showings, and ensure the smooth execution of lease agreements while providing excellent support to property managers and prospective tenants.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via email, phone, or online platforms.
• Schedule property showings and coordinate with property managers or agents.
• Review and process rental applications, including background checks.
• Draft and manage lease agreements and renewal notices.
• Ensure compliance with local leasing regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate property listings on rental platforms and websites.
• Track and report on leasing metrics such as occupancy and application statuses.
• Handle tenant communications and address pre-move-in concerns.
• Support marketing efforts to fill vacancies, including creating property ads.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Proven experience in leasing or property management roles (1+ year).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in property management tools (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with US leasing processes and regulations.
• Experience with tenant screening and application procedures.
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising for rental properties.
