About the Role

Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Senior HR Manager is responsible to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the HR policies and activities to all business units and ensure legal compliance and implementation of the organizations business mission and talent strategy.

Talent Acquisition (TA) - Recruitment

  • Oversee and mentor the existing TA team and the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Lead, create, implement, and ensure compliance of best practices to optimize efficiencies across the TA department.
  • Ensure targets and deliverables of the TA team are always met.
  • Provide training and feedback for the TA team where necessary.
  • Determine staffing requirements, skills and needs to meet the organizations objectives.

Labor Relations

  • Provide expertise on HR policy and Labor Relations matters.
  • Represent the company on all labor matters.
  • Advise leaders on company policies and effective practices regarding employee issues.
  • Counsel and guide leaders on appropriate performance management measures; proper implementation of disciplinary procedures; and conduct of performance management sessions as warranted.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of laws and regulations so the company remains fully compliant based on labor relations with best practices are implemented throughout.
  • Implement strategic HR initiatives to drive labor compliance, employee retention and engagement.
  • Identify risks and resolve complex employee relation issues, grievances, and escalated issues.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact of internal support group in addressing concerns, grievances, and providing ultimate guidance on HR policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and productivity.
  • Make sure communication is transparent, timely and relevant.
  • Have appropriate policies in place to reduce conflicts.
  • Respond quickly and thoroughly to any issue.
  • Provide opportunities for employees to leave feedback through focus group sessions, one on ones, satisfaction surveys etc.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, terminations, and exit processes in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Identify strategies that will increase employee engagement.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the pre-onboarding process to ensure and maintain exceptional employee experience.
  • Assist with implementation of engagement programs/activities, such as Year End Party, company outings, and other activities that encourage work life balance and team building.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee the proper implementation of the companys compensation and benefits administration.
  • Ensures payroll is administered properly and timely.
  • Resolve complex pay discrepancies and provide advise on how to avoid similar instances in the future.
  • Propose and implement company benefits / incentive schemes.
  • Recommends salary/pay scales, annual merit increases, promotion, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to statutory benefits requirements of the law.

Training & Development

  • Implement a KPI based performance evaluation system and monitor performance effectiveness & productivity.
  • Establish a system of performance and rewards management.
  • Ensures employee development, through in-house learning sessions or external training.
  • Ensures timely communication, execution, and completion of all required performance evaluations as necessary.

Data Management & Administration

  • Oversee the creation of employment contracts and other similar documents; assist leaders in the implementation of said contracts and agreements as necessary.
  • Maintain employee 201 files, data accuracy and confidentiality within the assigned HRIS.
  • Ensure that all HR-related deliverables, documentation, and action items are submitted, filed and/or processed within a prescribed period in relation to but not limited to Labor Law standards, all forms of internal and external audits and/or government-mandated directives.
  • Create and enforce policies.

Other related duties outside of those stated above may be given as needed.

About you

  • Bachelors degree in AB/BS Psychology and or Human Resource Management (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resource management experience.
  • Experience working for a BPO company servicing international clients.
  • Proficient knowledge in employment-related governing laws, labor regulations and policies and DOLE standards.
  • Leadership experience in Talent Acquisition with a proven track record in creating, leading, or standardizing best-practice processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS Systems, and MS Office.
  • Proficiency in managing employees in a hybrid or WFH setup.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical mindset and change management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills to build lasting relationships with internal teams, external partners, and candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high performing team environments.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Passionate in Human Resources Management.
  • Ability to travel, domestically as needed to support the business.
