Our client  is an IT Managed Service Provider located in Sydney, Australia. Due to recent business growth we are seeking an enthusiastic service desk engineer to join our team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As the IT Support engineer, you'll be working in a team and responsible for providing Level 1-3 Desktop & Helpdesk support to our clients.

  • Provide Level 1 to Level 3 helpdesk support to clients via telephone, email and onsite.
  • Resolve incidents assigned to you in a timely manner ensuring customer service and client outcomes are paramount.
  • Triage incoming client calls and incidents and manage escalations Engineers, as required.
  • Monitor and action alerts from client systems.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in providing technical service role
  • Ability to provide Level 1 to Level 3 support to clients
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft environments, including Windows 7-10, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - 2022.
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Apple environments, including mac OS, iOS.
    • Network diagnosis
    • Hardware, Printers and peripherals.
    • Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Exchange server experience well regarded.
  • ITIL experience and certificate preferable.
  • Industry certifications, such as MCSA, well regarded.
  • Previous Managed Services experience in the SME sector well regarded.
  • Mandarin spoken language well regarded.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Good communication skill and work attitude
  • Excellent English spoken and written
