Primary Purpose of the Role

This role works closely with the Director SGBCorp to increasing brand equity and exploiting market opportunities in line with our marketing strategies, execution plans and our business targets. This role contributes to strategy and then delivers tangible plans and implementation through management of online websites, online ad campaigns, social media and creative copy. The role delivers innovative, targeted and timely marketing services for each individual business sub group.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to, rollout and management of new marketing strategies and campaigns to meet business KPIs with the Director SGBCorp (10%)

Development, rollout and management of new marketing strategies and campaigns including the management of digital advertising (SEO and SEM), social media, marketing materials and strategic partnerships. (70%)

Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including targeted paid advertising, online and offline events, and content marketing (white papers, case studies, and blogging, etc.). (20%)

  • Website Development and maintenance (Wordpress site about to launch new design).
  • Manage and executes SEO and adwords campaigns.
  • Management of marketing consultants and sponsorship deals to maximise ROI on business investment and/or achievement of contracted deliverables.
  • Drive the evolution of our brand positioning, bringing it to life in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates our customers.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and monitor industry-leading trends to position our various businesses as industry leaders.
  • Brainstorm new creative growth strategies, content creation, updates to our websites and promotional activities.
  • Management of marketing budgets and consistent branding across all marketing and advertising activities.
  • Establish an online presence and online marketplace for businesses without a digital footprint.
  • Develop advertising newsletters, acquisition brochures, point-of-sale materials, promotional pieces, e-mail blasts, special offers and customer service scripts.
  • Use analytics and insights to inform future campaigns and proactive marketing planning.
  • Manage and develop with sales team business CRM newsletters, sequencing and email automations.
  • Management of marketing consultants and sponsorship deals to maximise ROI on business investment and/or achievement of contracted deliverables.
  • Manage our customers databases, including updates, reports and segmentations.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and bring your insights to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.

Key Capabilities Requirements:

Industry

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and/or communications industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in marketing or business.
  • Trucking industry experience advantageous but not necessary.

Work Experience

  • Prior experience in a marketing leadership role or considerable experience,
  • Experience in brand development and application across a range of tools channels and mediums,
  • Experience owning a full marketing budget and thriving in a fast-paced environment

Technical & Functional Capabilities & Skills 

  • Experience in web development (existing word press websites partial coding).
  • Ability to manage SEO and adwords campaigns.
  • Graphic Design Skills (adobe creative, canva or similar).
  • Experience working with marketing management software (CRM is currently Pipedrive for mail outs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
