Summary: The Sales and Billing Specialist is a key team member responsible for driving sales growth while ensuring a seamless and customer-centric billing and service experience. This role involves a combination of sales, billing, account management, and customer support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Acquisition:

  • Focused on working with a broad range of businesses, you will be tasked with expanding our relationships through creating great customer experiences and organically growing the value provided to our existing customer portfolio.
  • Understand your customer's needs and develop a solution
    to help them achieve their outcomes,
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to facilitate long-term customer partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.

2. Billing and Invoicing:

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Address customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account statements.

3. Customer Experience:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues with empathy, aiming for effective resolutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered to effectively address customer inquiries.

4. Account Management:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date client records and account information.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products or services to existing customers.
  • Monitor customer accounts to prevent potential issues and proactively reach out to address them.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and billing-related information.
  • Generate sales reports, billing summaries, and customer feedback for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in Sales and customer-facing sales roles (minimum 3 years).
  • Proven sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, billing systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-solving skills to address billing discrepancies and customer concerns effectively.
