The Opportunity

As a Procurement specialist at One Medical, you will be the expert of the Procure to Pay process. You will educate users on the procurement process, and help users to resolve questions/issues. You are also responsible for evaluating the procurement process and suggesting improvements backed up by reports, analytics and user feedback. You may be asked to help with strategic sourcing related initiatives.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be involved in procurement operational process improvement projects. You will also partner closely with key stakeholders in supply chain, finance and other departments.

What you'll likely work on:

  • Be the subject matter expert of the Procure to Pay system educating users on the process
  • Review and analyze vendor spending to identify cost saving opportunities
  • Create, update and maintain procurement documents and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with operations team to identify and meet procurement needs
  • Effective Supplier Relationship Management driving supplier results; leveraging data, metrics, and internal feedback
  • Researches and resolves PO and invoice issues such as non-delivered goods, returns, replacements, repairs and payment coordination.

What youll need:

  • 0-3 years of experience in procurement or related field
  • Procurement experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning System
  • Knowledge of the full cycle procurement process
  • Knowledge of contract management and negotiations (Basic level for NDA or Renewals)
  • Knowledge of vendor management
  • Data analytical skills and proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheet
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Strong project management skill. Proven ability to multitask, organize, schedule, and track information to and from various sources
  • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions and within a team-based structure
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and provides complete follow through on areas of responsibility
