- Role Description
Our is embarking on a program of work that will replace the existing SAP ECC6 on-premise solution with an implementation of SAP S/4HANA functionality for the following business areas; Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Supply Chain & Inventory Management, Expense Management, Financial Planning Budgeting and Forecasting.
The transition to AWS cloud-based SAP S/4HANA will improve a number of aspects of the way the Business functions and ultimately undertakes the day-to-day activities necessary to protect lives and property. The improvements and benefits expected from the SAP Program are:
- Introduction of automated workflows, reducing manual paper or email-based processes
- Enhance team member experience, greater mobility and access to necessary applications
- Faster invoice payments and expense reimbursements
- Increased quality, access and timeliness of information
- Supported, reliable and robust technology supporting scalability for future growth
- Easier ordering and management of inventory; and
- Improved data to inform asset maintenance and upgrade/replacement decisions
Key Deliverables
The key deliverables of the SAP Project Co-Ordinator are:
- Working with stakeholders/vendors
- Working on the project to support the Project Manager ensuring fortnightly/monthly reports are completed, budgets/actuals are meet within milestones.
- Providing support with running and co-ordinating workshops
- Working with the Business - start to end of project, ensuring they project deliverables are on time
- Keeping track of invoicing/forecasting /budgeting in order of project completions
- Scheduling meetings with vendors/stakeholders
- Scheduling resources - referencing SOW
- Managed an engaged with IT teams/Engineers/Solution Architects in order to ensure the projects status updates are meet within milestones.
- Ensuring timesheets are submitted on time
- Attending meetings and ensuring action items are completed.
- Experience using PPM Tool (financials)
- Manage EOM invoicing
- Effective communicator across all aspects of the project and Business,
- Able to work independently and especially when under pressure and adaptable to changes
Essential Criteria/ Mandatory Skills
The key skills required of the SAP Project Co-Ordinator are:
- Demonstrate substantial knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA project management methodology and experience in projects administration
- Experience in a similar environment
- Experience and understanding in the use of MS Suite (Teams, Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Manage and update the project schedule with team leads
- Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build effective internal and external relationships
- Easily adaptable to business rules and supervision
- Thrives to exceed customers expectations
- Review and maintain proposed Project variations and their impact on budgets/actuals
- Ability to ensure that the Project team resources complete timesheet and expense reports to the Program Standards and requirements
Number of years of Experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in SAP Project Administration
Qualifications
Accounting or a corresponding tertiary qualification
