Our client is looking for a dedicated Outbound Telesales that maintains good relationships with the client, team, and co-workers to be effective in carrying out the work description of the position.

The Role

  • Raise funds for charities (Not for Profit) causes for whom we work
  • Regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets
  • Maintain complete and orderly records of donors via the online system using the data entry guidelines
  • Enter call outcomes 100% accurately after each call, in line with the call outcome guidelines
  • Build upon existing donor relationships and form new donor relationships
  • Deliver a strong and passionate fundraising message that appeals to potential and existing donors, keeping in line with the campaign script, donor protocol of respect and essential scripting guidelines
  • Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied on each call
  • Accurately and factually inform the existing or potential donor of the purpose and benefits of donating to the specific charity campaign and generate awareness
  • Pitch the correct donation on each call and follow the fall-back options
  • Collect and record pledges and payment details from donors
  • Objection Handling
  • Attending training and briefing sessions
  • Keeping donor records up to date and having accurate data entry skills
  • Adhering to the MaxContact Guidelines
  • Learn and be familiar with the FIA Code of Conduct

Requirements

  • Excellent English (conversational and comprehension needs to be at a very high level)
  • Sales and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Creative thinking and resourcefulness
  • Targeted and goal orientated
  • Competent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems

Prior Experience 

  • Ideally fundraising sales experience (not essential)
  • Ideally Call Centre/Telemarketing Experience
  • Sales
  • Background in retails and/or hospitality is also a bonus
