SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER (Cybersecurity Platform)

Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead development of the frontend architecture and user experience for a cloud-native cybersecurity platform.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance frontend systems that support multi-tenant SaaS functionality, security telemetry visualization, alerting workflows, dashboards, RBAC-driven experiences, and Microsoft security integrations. This role requires strong expertise in modern React ecosystems, frontend architecture, API integration, and enterprise SaaS application development.

Core Skills Required

  • 3+ years of frontend engineering experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Next.js
    • React
    • TypeScript
    • Tailwind
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
  • Deep understanding of:
    • REST APIs
    • Authentication flows
    • OAuth2 / token-based authentication
    • Session management
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and cloud services
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • State management
    • Component architecture
    • Responsive design systems
    • Frontend performance optimization
  • Experience building:
    • Administrative dashboards
    • Data visualization interfaces
    • Real-time or near real-time monitoring views
    • RBAC-aware user interfaces
    • Multi-tenant user experiences
  • Familiarity with frontend security best practices, including:
    • Secure token handling
    • XSS/CSRF mitigation
    • Permission-aware UI rendering
    • Scrum methodology
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling and workflows:
    • Git
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Testing frameworks
    • Component libraries
    • Package management ecosystems

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in cybersecurity, SIEM, EDR, SOC, observability, or monitoring platforms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security ecosystems, including:
    • Microsoft Graph API
    • Microsoft Defender
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Experience visualizing security telemetry, incidents, alerts, and operational analytics
  • Experience working with cloud-native architectures and Azure environments
  • Familiarity with:
    • WebSocket/event-driven interfaces
    • Charts and analytics visualization libraries
    • Design systems and accessibility standards

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable frontend architecture using Next.js and TypeScript
  • Build secure, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and platform services
  • Develop dashboards and workflows for security monitoring and incident management
  • Implement authentication, RBAC, and tenant-aware frontend experiences
  • Optimize frontend performance, maintainability, and scalability
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, UI standards, and engineering best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
  • Work closely with product and design teams to deliver enterprise-grade user experiences

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidates have experience building scalable frontend systems for SaaS, cloud, or cybersecurity platforms and can independently own frontend architecture and implementation from MVP through production. They are comfortable operating in fast-paced engineering environments and have strong attention to performance, usability, maintainability, and secure application design.
