We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and well established organisation in Malta, currently seeking a Site Labour Supervisor to join their construction team.

This is a hands on leadership role responsible for supervising general construction labourers while ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

🎯 The Role

As Site Labour Supervisor, you will lead a team on site while actively supporting daily operations.

📋 What You Will Do

• Supervise and coordinate a team of construction labourers
• Ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and safety standards
• Assist with manual labour tasks when required
• Oversee proper use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices
• Organise and distribute materials on site
• Prepare and maintain safe, clean working areas
• Operate hand and power tools and basic machinery when required
• Communicate effectively with foremen and site personnel
• Support training and mentoring of junior labourers
• Identify and resolve day to day site issues
• Work shifts, including weekends and night shifts when necessary

💡 What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Construction Team Leader or similar role
• Valid Fork Lifter Licence
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required
• Computer literate
• Valid driving licence
• Minimum High School Diploma (further certifications are an advantage)
• Reliable, hardworking, and team oriented
