 Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established hospitality organisation in Malta, currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to support the Human Resources function.

This role focuses primarily on work permit administration, HR documentation, and ensuring full compliance with Maltese employment regulations.


🎯 The Role

You will play a key part in ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations by managing employee documentation, contracts, and work permit processes accurately and efficiently.

This position is ideal for an HR professional with strong administrative experience who can manage core HR processes independently.


📋 Key Responsibilities

• Manage work permit applications and renewals, including documentation, submissions, follow ups, and record keeping
• Liaise with Jobsplus, Identity Malta, and relevant authorities
• Maintain accurate trackers and monitor permit expiry dates
• Prepare employment contracts, addenda, and maintain employee files
• Support onboarding and offboarding administration
• Handle HR related correspondence and employee queries
• Ensure compliance with Maltese employment law and internal HR policies
• Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards


💡 What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in HR administration
• Hands on experience managing work permits in Malta
• Good knowledge of Maltese employment law
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR systems knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset
• Professional, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
