We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading and well established organisation in Malta, currently seeking a skilled and detail oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing projects team.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate quantity extraction, cost control, and budget integrity across major construction developments.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for extracting, verifying, and monitoring quantities from drawings and on site measurements to support efficient and cost effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Take Off
Conduct detailed take offs from architectural, engineering, and interior design drawings
Use specialised software for accurate measurement and quantification
Collaborate with design teams to clarify specifications and plans

Quantity Verification
Verify quantities for procurement and installation
Identify and document discrepancies or design changes
Coordinate with procurement teams to support timely purchasing

Site Measurements
Carry out on site measurements during different construction phases
Update quantity records based on site progress
Work closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure compliance

Reporting and Documentation
Prepare accurate quantity and measurement reports
Support budgeting and cost analysis processes
Maintain up to date and organised documentation

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Fluent use of AutoCAD
Revit knowledge is considered an asset
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and organisational abilities
Willingness to conduct regular site visits
Ability to work in physically demanding site conditions when required
Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented
