A Food and Beverage Attendant is a hospitality professional who provides service to customers in restaurants, hotels, and other food service establishments. They are responsible for various tasks, including greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and may assist with setting up tables and processing payments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greeting guests, taking orders, and providing menu recommendations.
  • Order Taking and Processing: Using POS systems to record and transmit orders to the kitchen and bar accurately.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serving food and drinks to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Table Maintenance: Setting up tables, clearing finished plates and glasses, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
  • Cash Handling: Processing payments and handling cash transactions.
  • Menu Knowledge: Having a thorough understanding of the menu and being able to answer customer questions.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
