Business Analyst - Remote

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely (within EU). In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team.

Your tasks

• Business model and process analysis as well as business and functional analysis of IT applications;
• Elicitation, analysis, specification, documentation, validation and management of requirements;
• Assistance in Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters and Security Plans;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems and Risk Analysis;
• Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling;
• Provision of security assessments and solutions associated with information systems;
• Product ownership of agile product backlog (in charge, supporting or as backup) as proxy PO;
• Supporting the development by the team and iteratively testing the solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 5 years;
• At least 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis;
• At least 5 years of experience in business process analysis and modelling;
• At least 5 years of experience with BPM and JIRA;
• Good knowledge of analysis methods and techniques (UML, BPMN, context diagrams, use cases, user journeys and user stories), as well as good SQL knowledge (DB consultation);
• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc);
• Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites;
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile);
• Knowledge of testing skills (design, execution, documentation);
• Excellent command of the English language.
