A well-established and respected player in the wine industry is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Area Sales Executive to join its sales team on a full-time basis. This opportunity has become available due to the company's ongoing commitment to enhancing the service it offers to its valued clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly within the HoReCa sector

  • Prepare and negotiate both new and existing contracts

  • Implement sales initiatives and promotional strategies

  • Provide high-quality customer service and ongoing sales support

  • Monitor sales performance and follow up on client payments as per agreements

Additional Duties:

  • Organise promotional events with current and prospective clients

  • Conduct product training sessions, particularly related to wine merchandising

  • Maintain strong public relations with key client personnel

  • Prepare and manage in-store promotional material such as wine display units

  • Host client visits to the winery for sales presentations and tastings

  • Represent the company at events and trade shows, including wine festivals and industry functions

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales and in-field marketing

  • Strong business negotiation skills and a successful track record in meeting sales targets

  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, and service-driven

  • Fluent in both Maltese and English

  • Minimum O-level standard of education

  • Possession of a clean driving licence

  • Previous experience in the local HoReCa sector and wine trade is a strong asset
