Our client, a leader in Mechanical and Electrical installation and maintenance services, is expanding its operations and currently looking for a Site Coordinator to join their dynamic and multicultural team. Role Overview
Reporting to the Contracting Manager, the Site Coordinator is responsible for managing the full scope of on-site installation works. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and acting as the key liaison between contractors, subcontractors, internal departments, and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all on-site activities to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality project completion.

Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Set up and maintain functional site facilities, including site office and secure storage.

Oversee logistics and ensure site readiness with required provisions (e.g., scaffolding, sanitation).

Develop, update, and track project schedules and daily progress reports.

Organize and participate in team and client meetings, preparing and distributing Minutes of Meeting.

Work closely with technical, design, drafting, and quantity surveying teams to meet specifications.

Monitor subcontractor work quality and ensure adherence to project standards.

Manage and update snag lists, ensuring prompt resolution of outstanding issues.

Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, maintaining full compliance with health and safety regulations.

Handle project documentation, material testing, and specification reviews.

Issue Notices of Delay and Extension of Time requests as necessary.

Ensure timely processing of site certifications, claims, and payment follow-ups.

Lead the site handover process, ensuring completion of documentation and issue resolution.
What Were Looking For

Proven experience in Project Management or Site Coordination is essential.

A Secondary School Leaving Certificate is an asset.

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Able to manage deadlines under pressure and make independent decisions when needed.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); Maltese is a plus.

Valid European passport or legal work authorization for Malta.

Clean police conduct certificate (mandatory).
