We currently have a vacancy for a Configuration & Deployment Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Tasks

• Manage software configuration;
• Establish and maintain procedures related to the deployment of information systems;
• Manage infrastructure development (e.g. application servers);
• Manage automated CI/CD pipelines;
• Execute build processes and maintain continuous integration;
• Handle release management, including ticket follow-up and control checks;
• Analyze the performance of information systems.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 3 years of specific expertise in CI/CD;
• Minimum 2 years of specific expertise with Software Release Management;
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools (e.g. Bamboo, GitLab);
• Experience with software deployment management;
• Experience with building and deployment tools (e.g. Maven);
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira);
• Experience with application servers (e.g. Tomcat);
• Very good knowledge of RDBMS;
• Very good knowledge of cloud deployment;
• Excellent command of the English language.
