Role Overview
As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in the financial operations of the business by managing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and liaising with customers. Youll report directly to the Financial Controllers and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth and compliant financial processes.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and propose appropriate credit limits based on customer profiles (subject to approval).

Issue accurate invoices in a timely manner for delivered goods/services.

Follow up on overdue accounts through reminders, calls, or negotiations.

Set up and monitor repayment plans, ensuring timely adherence.

Monitor outstanding balances and generate aging reports.

Resolve disputes related to payments and outstanding invoices.

Liaise regularly with internal teams and customers for updates and issue resolution.

Prepare credit performance and collection reports for senior management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including data protection laws.

Accurately post payments and reconcile accounts.

Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions.

Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Keep financial systems updated and ensure accuracy in data entry.
What Were Looking For

Previous experience in Accounts/Finance or Credit Control is highly preferred.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

A relevant diploma or higher qualification is an asset.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and relevant laws.

Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools.

Valid European passport or legal authorization to work in Malta.

Clean police conduct certificate (required).
