Office Attendant

 Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of workspaces, common areas, offices, hallways, rest rooms, and any other areas as per cleaning schedule.

  • Emptying of trash bins and ensuring that garbage bags are appropriately separated into recyclable and non-recyclable bins.

  • Ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained, including cleaning supplies, refreshments, and any other items which may be required.

  • Responsible for reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.

  • Assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to visitors.

  • Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time.

Requirements and Core Competences:

  • School leaving certificate.

  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Flexibility and reliability.

  • Sociability and a positive attitude.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as on own initiative.
