Objectives of this role:

  • Scale the e-commerce business by driving sales growth, optimizing ROI, and expanding brand visibility.

  • Oversee Shopify storefront and marketplace management (Amazon, Reverb, GovX), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless customer experience across desktop and mobile.

  • Deliver accurate, professional Excel-based KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis, helping set measurable short- and long-term e-commerce goals.

  • Ensure efficient, error-free inventory and pricing updates through professional Excel workflows and bulk uploads.

  • Maintain accurate inventory across all channels by implementing daily, weekly, and annual checks, ensuring consistency between systems and preventing overselling.

  • Evaluate campaigns across all five business departments (retail, rentals, repairs, lessons, and e-commerce), assessing effectiveness and identifying improvements.

  • Ensure every outsourced team member has clear KPIs and reports weekly results directly to the E-Commerce Manager, who will consolidate and report all declared KPIs and performance updates directly to the CEO.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day Shopify operations, ensuring smooth functionality, timely updates, and a polished storefront experience across desktop and mobile.

  • Use professional-level Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, bulk data management) for:
    • Weekly and monthly KPI reporting.

    • Mass uploads for inventory and price changes across platforms.

  • Monitor inventory accuracy on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis, working with inventory management tools (e.g., SkuVault) to keep counts consistent and up to date.

  • Maintain accurate product listings, images, and pricing, preventing policy violations and errors.

  • Evaluate digital marketing campaigns across all five departments, measuring ROI, identifying weak spots, and developing improvement strategies.

  • Ensure outsourced teams track and present weekly KPI reports, creating accountability and clarity on performance.

  • Compile all declared KPIs and campaign results into consolidated weekly reports delivered directly to the CEO.

  • Coordinate and monitor email and SMS campaigns (Klaviyo), ensuring alignment with promotions and ROI.

  • Track website and mobile performance, troubleshoot issues, and partner with developers for design improvements.

  • Monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads performance and collaborate with specialists to ensure campaigns meet ROI goals.

  • Identify new digital opportunities, test CRO strategies (conversion rate optimization, A/B testing), and implement initiatives to grow revenue.

  • Lead weekly e-commerce team meetings to review progress, challenges, and goals.

  • Provide clear, actionable reports to the CEO with insights and recommendations.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager or in a similar leadership role, specifically in B2C e-commerce.

  • Shopify expertise (non-negotiable).

  • Advanced Excel proficiency (KPI reporting, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and mass data uploads).

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.

  • Experience in digital marketing (SEO, Meta Ads, Google Ads, email/SMS, omni-channel campaigns).

  • Skilled in data analysis, KPI reporting, and translating insights into measurable actions.

  • Experience managing outsourced or remote teams.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Stable internet connection and ability to attend regular Zoom/Google Meet meetings.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in a results-driven environment.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with tools such as Klaviyo (email/SMS), SkuVault (inventory), and ListingMirror (multi-channel).

  • Familiarity with CRO (conversion rate optimization) and A/B testing.

  • Experience building loyalty and rewards programs.

  • Passion for or background in music, arts, or education-related industries.
