Objectives of this role:
The People Operations Manager will play a key role in improving and managing HR and people operations processes that support outsourced Filipino talent hired through Outsource Recruiter. This role will focus on contractor onboarding, engagement, retention, performance support, and building scalable HR systems and workflows that improve workforce experience, operational efficiency, and long-term retention. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, proactive, and experienced in supporting remote or offshore teams within a staffing, outsourcing, or talent agency environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage contractor onboarding, engagement, retention, and ongoing people operations support for outsourced Filipino talent.
Build, improve, and standardize HR processes, SOPs, onboarding workflows, and operational documentation.
Partner closely with the Client Retention team in handling contractor concerns, performance issues, and client escalations.
Monitor contractor attendance, engagement, productivity, and overall workforce performance to proactively identify risks and support retention efforts.
Support performance management initiatives, including coaching, accountability measures, and engagement strategies.
Prepare workforce, engagement, utilization, and retention reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with Recruitment to ensure smooth onboarding transitions and contractor readiness.
Identify and implement HR and operational workflow improvements that enhance contractor experience and internal efficiency.
Required skills and qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Operations.
Previous experience in a staffing, outsourcing, recruitment, or talent agency environment is required.
Experience supporting contractors, offshore teams, remote workers, or distributed workforces.
Strong experience creating and improving HR processes, SOPs, onboarding systems, and workflow documentation.
Strong understanding of onboarding, engagement, retention, employee relations, and performance management best practices.
Experience handling contractor concerns, performance issues, and engagement workflows.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance contractor support with operational expectations and company standards.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
Experience managing a team in a remote work setup.
Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience.
