Objectives of this role:

  • Generate and qualify high-quality leads to support the sales pipeline

  • Develop and nurture relationships with prospects to move them through the sales funnel

  • Drive revenue growth by effectively pitching, negotiating, and closing sales

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, databases, and social networks

  • Initiate and manage outbound prospecting efforts via email, phone, and social media (LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet target customer profiles

  • Deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to client needs

  • Build strong relationships with prospects to understand pain points and offer solutions

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals

  • Track leads, opportunities, and sales progress in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline health, and achieved targets

  • Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation and sales efforts

  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B or B2C environment

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal)

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and sales enablement platforms

  • Confident in cold calling, prospecting, and overcoming objections

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and opportunities

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Background in virtual sales or SaaS sales environments

  • Experience with email automation and outbound prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, Mailchimp)

  • Familiarity with lead scoring and qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC)

  • Ability to create sales materials, proposals, and contracts
