Objectives of this role:
Generate and qualify high-quality leads to support the sales pipeline
Develop and nurture relationships with prospects to move them through the sales funnel
Drive revenue growth by effectively pitching, negotiating, and closing sales
Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, databases, and social networks
Initiate and manage outbound prospecting efforts via email, phone, and social media (LinkedIn, etc.)
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet target customer profiles
Deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to client needs
Build strong relationships with prospects to understand pain points and offer solutions
Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals
Track leads, opportunities, and sales progress in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho)
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline health, and achieved targets
Collaborate with marketing to align lead generation and sales efforts
Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies
Required skills and qualifications:
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B or B2C environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal)
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and sales enablement platforms
Confident in cold calling, prospecting, and overcoming objections
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and opportunities
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Preferred skills and qualifications
Background in virtual sales or SaaS sales environments
Experience with email automation and outbound prospecting tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, Mailchimp)
Familiarity with lead scoring and qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC)
Ability to create sales materials, proposals, and contracts
