We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Strategist to manage our social media presence and create engaging visual content. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive social media strategy, producing high-quality video and graphic assets, and optimizing our online presence to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Objective of this role:

  • This role focuses on creating and executing a social media strategy across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including producing engaging video reels and graphics. It also involves managing a content calendar, tracking analytics, and aligning content with the brand's overall marketing goals in collaboration with the business owner.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy

  • Create eye-catching video reels, graphics, and other visual assets

  • Manage a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting

  • Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategy as needed

  • Collaborate with the business owner to ensure brand alignment

  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices


Required skills and qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and/or digital marketing

  • Proficiency in video editing using tools like InShot, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Strong graphic design skills and experience creating visuals for social media

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple projects

  • Familiarity with social media algorithms and best practices for organic growth

  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking

  • Passion for creating engaging, on-brand content

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience working with small businesses or in the creative/arts industry

  • Knowledge of social media advertising and paid campaigns

  • Familiarity with scheduling/automation tools like Hootsuite or Sprout Social
