The Operations Director will serve as the integrator for the business, leading a remote team of VAs and aligning them with the company’s goals through structure, accountability, and process improvement. This role is critical in reducing operational dependency on the business owner and enabling the company to scale efficiently using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles.

Objectives of this role:

  • Translate the owner’s vision into clear, actionable plans and lead their execution

  • Drive team performance, structure, and accountability through EOS principles

  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies to support scalable, high-impact operations

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead weekly team meetings, including EOS L10s

  • Ensure clear follow-through on team commitments and project deadlines

  • Build, document, and optimize internal systems and SOPs

  • Hold team members accountable to performance goals, KPIs, and deliverables

  • Coach and develop team members to maximize their productivity and engagement

  • Monitor operational and financial performance, and support strategic decisions using P&L data

  • Oversee the execution of 90-day plans, special projects, and key business initiatives

  • Collaborate closely with the business owner to track priorities and maintain team alignment

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years in operations, project management, or leadership roles (preferably remote)

  • Strong background in managing virtual teams and distributed operations

  • Deep familiarity with the EOS framework and ability to implement it effectively

  • Proven track record of improving systems, processes, and team performance

  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and coaching skills

  • Ability to analyze and interpret P&L data to support strategic planning

  • Tech-savvy and highly organized: experienced with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and task/project tools

  • Outcome-driven, decisive, and execution-focused

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Background in real estate operations or experience in a fast-paced, service-based SMB

  • Experience managing offshore or multicultural VA teams

  • Familiarity with Follow Up Boss or similar CRMs

  • Previous experience supporting a visionary-type leader or entrepreneur
