We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage / Fire Alarm professional to support estimating, system planning, and project coordination. This role requires strong knowledge of fire alarm code, low-voltage systems, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams. Success in this role depends on technical accuracy, code compliance, and effective teamwork.

Objectives of this role:
To produce accurate and timely estimates for fire alarm and low-voltage projects
To ensure all estimates comply with Texas fire alarm codes and applicable regulations
To support sales and operations teams with reliable administrative and estimating support
To proactively communicate needs, clarifications, or missing information required to complete bids
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed estimates for fire alarm and low-voltage projects
Perform takeoffs and equipment lists using plans, specifications, and scope documents
Apply Texas fire alarm code requirements to system layouts and quantities
- Estimate and support low-voltage systems including:
Fire alarm systems (Siemens and Fire-Lite)
CCTV and video surveillance
Intercom systems
Access control
Security and alarm systems
Work closely with sales personnel to support bidding and proposal preparation
Check equipment pricing, quantities, and system requirements for accuracy
Coordinate with internal team members to clarify scope, site conditions, or missing information
Use Microsoft 365 tools for documentation, spreadsheets, collaboration, and reporting
Maintain organized, accurate estimating files and documentation
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders
Required skills and qualifications:
Proven industry experience as a fire alarm or low-voltage estimator
Strong working knowledge of Texas fire alarm codes (non-negotiable)
Understanding of low-voltage systems including CCTV, intercom, access control, and security
Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft 365
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work independently and proactively ask for information when needed
Preferred skills and qualifications
Experience estimating Siemens fire alarm systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience supporting sales teams with bids and proposals
