About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business acquisition across the Australian market.

This is a fully remote role requiring proven success in B2B SaaS sales, with the ability to manage the entire sales cycle end-to-end — from prospecting to close.

Key Responsibilities

New Business & Sales Execution

  • Drive new business growth across the Australian market

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new B2B software opportunities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract close

  • Conduct discovery calls to identify customer needs and pain points

  • Present software solutions and clearly articulate value propositions

Pipeline & Performance Management

  • Build, manage, and forecast an accurate sales pipeline

  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, deal stages, and sales reporting

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy and market insights

  • Provide feedback on market trends, objections, and opportunities

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in B2B software (SaaS) sales

  • Australian market experience strongly preferred

  • Proven track record of closing deals with commercial businesses

  • Strong understanding of Australian buying cycles and decision-makers

  • Experience managing end-to-end sales processes

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Highly self-motivated with strong time management in a remote setup

  • Results-driven mindset with consistent quota achievement

Highly Desirable

  • Experience selling subscription-based or recurring revenue products

  • Experience selling to SMEs or multi-location businesses

  • CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)

  • Prior experience working in a fully remote sales environment
