About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Generation Specialist with proven Australian B2B experience to support a fast-growing Collections Agency. This role is responsible for researching, identifying, qualifying, and warming up leads across Australian industries with overdue accounts or high receivable volumes.
Australian market knowledge is essential including AU payment culture, credit terms, business structures, communication style, and industry patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Research & Identification

Identify high-value prospects across key Australian industries (construction, trades, wholesale, medical, logistics, property, etc.).

Research companies using ABN Lookup, ASIC, LinkedIn, AU industry directories, and commercial databases.

Build structured lead lists based on industry, size, overdue payment risk, and ageing.
Outbound Lead Generation

Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups with AU decision-makers.

Clearly explain the value of Collections & Debt Recovery services.

Qualify prospects by understanding overdue accounts, ageing, debtor behaviour, and cashflow pressure.

Overcome objections in line with Australian communication expectations.

Book appointments or warm handovers for the Collections Manager or Director.
CRM & Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, and lead status updates.

Track KPIs including conversations, leads generated, appointments set, and conversions.

Prepare weekly reports on pipeline performance and market insights.
Support to Collections Team

Pre-screen client enquiries to ensure suitability and compliance.

Capture details such as number of debtors, industry, account ageing, disputes, and previous attempts at recovery.

Provide thorough handover notes to the Collections Team for seamless onboarding.
Mandatory Requirements
Australian Market Understanding

Minimum 2-3 years experience working with AU businesses in lead generation, B2B sales, credit control, debt collection, or related roles.

Strong understanding of AU credit terms (NET 30, EOM), overdue behaviours, and industry payment cycles.

Familiarity with AU industries that commonly require collections: construction, trades, wholesale, logistics, medical, property management, strata, education, etc.
Tools & Technical Knowledge

Experience with CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or similar).

Ability to research AU businesses using ABN Lookup, ASIC, LinkedIn, and public registries.
Required Skills & Experience

2-5+ years experience in lead generation, outbound sales, appointment setting

Strong lead qualification, organisation, and follow-up capability.

High accuracy with CRM updates, reporting, and documentation.
Success in objection handling and outbound calling
